about DiBacks Greetings
Thank you so much for your interest in my site!
I am an amateur photographer with an interest in the macro world. Bees have been
my favorite subject ... but they have become harder and harder to find in my corner
of the world (Arizona). I don't know whether this is because of Colony Collapse
Disorder or overzealous extermination due to the Africanized Killer Bee scare, but
it is disturbing.

My interest in photographing bees had led me to discover so many different aspects
of just how valuable this species is. From the pollination of fruits, nuts and
vegetables to apitherapy and the potential to treat and/or cure a multitude of
ailments, bees truly are amazing creatures.

If you are interested in learning about Colony Collapse Disorder please visit the
links provided on the "Bees" page or consider these books: "Fruitless Fall" by
Rowan Jacobsen, "A Spring Without Bees" by Michael Schacker.
